Review of Uptown Festival Cardiff
V.I.P was a con ....also not allowing an wheelchair bound person access to disabled toilets in v.i.p enclosure opposite stage and forcing them to go right to the bottom of the field was unjust. Drink prices (£8 a single shot of rum £8+ for a portion of (Iceland fries) chips £17 a chicken wrap ....also amusements were overpriced for children.

Review of Uptown Festival Cardiff - Carer Tickets
Bute park is a great venue. Security and Loos were good. The event wasn't v busy maybe due to the weather as overcast. It was set out for lots of people but I don't think they turned up. Lots of food places 2 x rides 1 x main stage which was undercover where the main atmosphere was 1 x tot rave music tent but over all it was a small festival. More people and sunshine would have created a better atmosphere.

Great bands, Maxi Priest was outstanding, Sister Sledge fun, Desmond Dekker's Aces were great despite sound issues, as were Aswad. The atmosphere was good throughout but there was plenty of room to stand or move around comfortably. Prices what you would expect at a festival. There could have been more tables to sit down at particularly in the VIP section, which also had nowhere enough women's toilets. And despite promises of free tap water, this could not be found and the bars denied all knowledge of it. But still a fun afternoon and evening.

Review of KISSTORY Cardiff
I was disappointed in the event. It's the first one I've left early. My guests had travelled 200 miles to attend.
The line up wasn't as good as other Kisstory events, and on the day more artists disappeared off the set list.
The venue was too small for the amount going on. VIP area was in-between the 2 tents, so you could hear both of them together. The rides were all blasting music louder than that of the tents with airhorn sounds going off. It felt more visiting fairground than a well known and loved event.
The artists we did see were not on very long. When we heard the same songs playing just an hour or two after we first heard them.
It's a real shame.

Great day overall, nice friendly atmosphere. Music good but would have liked to have seen more tents with music as was a long day waiting for the main bands to come on.

When Maxi Priest was on stage a roadie approached him mid song and told him to get off the stage
I thought that was so disrespectful
If his time was cut short because of their incompetence setting up earlier and making programme run late there is a more polite way of doing things
It was rude , discusting approach towards an international artist

Definitely recommend the festival but not the VIP.. I purchased VIP after it being described as the perfect retreat to use during the festival.. this was not the case. It was a small area with a few barrels to stand around with only 2 or 3 picnic benches to sit at.. toilets were good and nice and clean but that's about it. No photo opportunities as described

Review of Uptown Festival Cardiff - Carer Tickets
The choir was an added bonus and they were fantastic. I really enjoyed captain accident and the disasters and Desmond Deckers aces. But after that it went a bit down hill. Too much 'rap' and bass for me..The no return policy is a bit harsh aswell. I'd really like to have left and returned but it just wasn't allowed .
