Review of Uptown Festival Cardiff - Blue Light Offer

Nothing for children as advertised as a family festival with raver tots being the only available activity. The two rides available were for adults and young Kids rides tucked away behind barriers. Poor layout. Unfriendly surround barriers and entrance looked like a prison. We left after 3 hours. We will be wary about attending another event run by this company.

Any need for the strict search entry? Take a leaf out of Bristol’s books! And the fact that literally it was only bad lager or weak cider on sale was an insult. Only decent food and prices was local Anna Lola. The dj between the acts was terrible. The stage ran late and the aces had 30 mins. Atrocious.

Great time, but drinks were very expensive and there was a change in line up from the original when bought which was a shame. Plus more toilets would have been good! We went VIP which was worth it, but still a queue for the toilets

My whole day was ruined by the security on the way in, I know they have to search people but putting there hands up in there bras was totally unacceptable it was a violation and this ruined a few people's day, one of my freinds had previously been sexually assaulted and she was upset all day about this experience when we said to the security she was not allowed to touch people like that her reply was "I can do what I want". Fair to say all of our day was ruined.

Great music and atmosphere but to charge £6.50 for a can of Budweiser is an absolute joke

We paid for VIP and it said we would get additional food option but there wasn't any food stalls in the VIP. We had VIP toilets but there were only a few so there was always such a large queue it was quicker to use the main portaloos! The VIP bar was good as the main bar was crazy busy and probably impossible to get a drink there at times. The music was good in parts but acts obviously didn't speak with one another as there was a lot of song duplication, sometimes only a few songs apart. The lineup said DJ Luck & MC Neat were playing so we thought these were likely to be the headliners but they didn't play at all which was a big disappointment.
