You can't take your own food into the venue but the queues for the food were horrendous during the evening. I will like to attend in the future but I will take food for my 2 daughter's due to health reasons next yr. Thankfully we bought some food before the queues got too big. My one daughter was hungry again later but we couldn't face standing in a massive queue for pizza & all the while missing the band's we wanted to watch. Its a family festival so to expect families to queue for so long is awful. We ended up getting a takeaway on the way home.
The food & beverage prices were also at a premium. Myself & my husband only had 2 alcoholic drinks each all day. Mainly because the last one took an hour to get in a crazy long queue. Another bar on site was definately needed.
Thankfully the music & atmosphere were great so would like to attend again.

Such a brilliant day, went with 6 of my girlfriends, all of us thoroughly enjoyed, the only downside for us was the enormous queues for the drinks stalls and the bar as we were queuing for 1.5-2 hours a time :-/ but overall was a great day! Thank you Depot!

Had an amazing day and night! Music was great, atmosphere was fantastic!
My only complaint would be the queues for drinks, being fully aware of how many people were attending there should of been more bars - we queued for an hour to get a cup of pimms!!

The queue for the bar was 40 minutes every time. That's no good. I mean it takes about 30 minutes to drink a pint. That definitely needs sorting. I mean the guy was pouring one pint at a time and waiting until they were ordered. If you look at the Isle of Wight festival or reading, they don't do it like that. Also, download Paris last year used a cashless system, it made things incredibly fast. Maybe look into that? I mean the bar must have lost an absolute fortune because people can't get served.
Also, the website said music starts at six. We entered the castle at 17:50 on-time for circa waves (or so we thought). They were doing their last song! What happened there then?
Tom Odell and clean bandit were excellent though and the toilet queue wasnt bad at all (probably because no one could get a drink).
If recommend the festival but hope you sort out these teething problems.

considering this was a family event, I didn't find it that way, it would have been much nicer and enjoyable if myself and children could go in with a picnic and settle down on the green for the performance. and to be searched like we are in customs was very off putting.
prices of the food were not reasonable at all.
the toilets were all in one area so if you were by the stage you had to fight through the crowds to use the toilet.
queued for an hour to get a drink from the bar
we would have thought that as it was inside the castle we would have admittance to see the castle but no we were told we had to pay another £15
at times the music was sooo loud we had to put tissue in our ears
so overall no I would not visit again or bring my children

Absolutely brilliant day! The music was great and venue looked fantastic!! So glad I could get some gluten free food too. Only but if constructive feedback I have I that a venue of that size should’ve had either more bar staff or another bar, the queue took about an hour to get through. But we’ll done I throughly enjoyed myself!! x
