'Unwanted Flesh' Artist Talk & Live Performance
From 2-4pm, Delphi will be in the gallery to meet visitors and give her personal insight into the processes and journey of creating the work on display, explaining how the various elements forming this body of work refer to her own body’s mapping through chronic illness.
Following this, there will be a live performance from movement artist Charlie Lockwood, taking place in the gallery from 6-9pm. Lockwood has drawn on a number of traditions such as Butoh and authentic movement to create an embodied live performance exploring illness, sensation and experiential anatomy within the installation itself, as a site response. Approximately 20mins long, the performance will begin at 7pm.
This ticket is for the evening performance only - the Gallery is free to enter in the day & a ticket is not required for the artist meet & greet.
