I had an 'awsome' 'amazing' 'cheap as chips' 'friendly' experience for The Dualers, The Navarones and Underclass gig at Cardiff University's Students Union last Saturday night. It really was a fantastic evening of great music and was well worth and far more of the over 100 mile journey from Mid Wales. I managed to grab my spot on the front row in front of the stage and stayed there all night, as I usually do at such gigs anyway - if I can obtain that spot. I was extremely fortunate and enjoyed every minute of that experience. If there is any sort of negativity, it was before entering the gig at the very beginning. Some people were already in the building queuing up and I naturally joined in that queue. I wasn't too pleased to discover that everyone in the building were told to go outside about 10 minutes before doors opened. The doors should have been locked if that was the case. Apart from that, an excellent night as previously said and looking forward to another event that Skaplace organise. :)

Great line up of talented bands and fantastic atmosphere! The acts were class!
Only downside was the warm beer and pumped up prices at the students union.
I don’t mind paying for quality but this was dire! Still, it didn’t spoil the night as you could get high on the atmosphere,I just didn’t drink as much as I normally would. 😁

This is the first time I've been to a reggae gig and it was amazing.
I first saw The Dualers on Facebook and loved the sound and wanted to hear more so booked the tickets, I was definitely NOT disappointed they were amazing, I managed to get right in front of the mike and I was spellbound, so much so I have already booked tickets to next years gig in Cardiff.

Im a little biased on venue - I was at Cardiff as a student 33-37 years ago, so it was fun to be back in the Great Hall at the Students Union. The Dualers however are my favourite band and have been for a while.
They make me happy to be in their company. Great crowd, great dancing, great atmosphere, as always. Thank you.
