Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
Should be allowed to bring in own food and soft drinks to venue. Venue prices were an absolute rip off. £3 for a 200ml plastic cup of c**e poured from a fifty pence bottle.
If it was at the same venue next year do as others did this year sit in the public park for free and have a nice family picnic listening to the music.

Good day in a good venue
Would have liked to see more toilets !! The prices for food and drink was steep & I don't believe we should be paying the same in the north of England as those in the south! It is well known that wages in the north do not match those in the south of the country & we are being squeezed in every direction. Ticket price was fair but once in venue we are screwed. Also there was a crazy policy in place that stopped us leaving the venue & re-entering!!! What is that about? Come on , you need something better than this system in place! People were being refused to get seats from cars & those with families & young children were refused re-entry after going for a walk with young children to a nearby play park! Rediculous!!!!

Tickets were a great price but the drinks were extortionate, a hot day also and all that dancing and it's £3 for a tiny bottle of water. £10 for an alcoholic drink! But the day was amazing, well put together and controlled, fab atmosphere

Some if the acts weren't even on what we're advertised ...only got ticket cos it was cheap but then the drink and food cost a fortune could have taken my kids away for the weekend for the price all that cost and we weren't even allowed to go out take kids on bitts Park then go back in which was a disappointment as the kids were extremely bored by 3 !!!

Review of Look-A-Like Festival: Outdoor Tribute Festival - Carlisle!
We paid for a VIP ticket for the original venue of Carlisle racecourse. Knowing the VIP area there has cover if the weather is bad and also has good views of the stage. Carlisle Bitts park the VIP area was not monitored by those at the gate of it. It was overcrowded as people from the other area were coming in to use our toilets. The toilets were disgusting. Nowhere to wash your hands. Thankfully I had taken tissues and hand wipes with me. When we arrived the alcohol delivery has not been delivered to the VIP bar so I was forced to drink something I don't really like at an expensive price. Also the VIP area was the muddiest area of the whole field. We left and stood in the standard area. Better view of the stage and nearer to eating areas. The fact you couldn't leave the venue and return even though you had a wrist band on was terrible. Staff working on all the gates had attitude and very unhelpful. Glass perfume bottle taken off us on entry and nowhere to be seen when we left? So basically we got ripped off paying for VIP as there was none. The acts were excellent although there weren't half the act advertised. Good atmosphere and a very enjoyable day, but far too costly.

Vip area was rubbish you couldn't see the stage from there. Toilets had no water or paper towels. Drink well overpriced and warm (nobody likes warm lager). Food extremely overpriced. Some of the security were very rude as were the bar staff. We went to see 2 of the artist that were on the advert poster only to find they were not there.

Some really good acts, only one that we didn't enjoy.
The VIP area is a good idea but was disappointing because of the fence blocking the view of the acts, we only went into it for the toilets and bar.

Not happy at all having paid for VIP entry only to be penned in behind a 6ft fence to the side of the stage whereas everyone else was in front of stage paying cheaper tickets!!!!!!!
No drinks left at 7pm !! Many people complained and food vendors weren't allowed to sell non alcoholic drinks either
Very poorly run and if there's a chance of a refund it would be appreciated thank you

Review of Save The Rave: Outdoor 90's Festival - Carlisle!
Atmosphere was good given the weather. Prices of alcohol were extreme £140 for a bottle of gin?£160 for vodka. Queues for the bar up to an hour long and staff looked out of their depth. only 20 portaloos for the site so up to 30 minutes queuing for that too each time. Spent more time in queues than watching the sets. A lot of people I know were VIP and they were over on the main side as their queues were the same. Dj sets were ok but repetitive music. How many times do we need to hear 'better off alone', ?! now that song is stuck in my head two days later. All in all, I did have the best time with my friends

Good music, good atmosphere but the management was so disappointing. V.I.P. location was in the wrong place. High fencing obstructing the stage, made you feel isolated. Toilets absolutely disgusting, no-one checking on them and replacing toilet rolls, sanitiser etc. and no running water. Bar staff not able to offer a good service, which you could tell, frustrated them. No change when paying by cash. Ran out of drink by 8.30pm even though the festival didn't finish until 10pm.
Very disappointing for the price of the tickets.

Music was okay to good, but management for this event is poor. VIP caged into a side where you couldn't see the stage in full behind a fence. Lack of knowledge leading up to this event with a change from location. No David Bowie! I see reports about these event's by Skiddle and still make similar mistakes. Wake up. Queen song. "Another one bit's the dust". Like to see "We are the Champions" if a next time happens. "You can go your own way" Fleetwood Mac. If you carry on. Better management please. Then you can bring your prices down on food and drink and we can enjoy with a lot more people there. Toilets keep them clean and good to use for all.
