Amazing event. The light show all in all was amazing including the lights on Carlisle Castle and the Civic Centre. The only downfall I feel was having to sit down for the main part as you didn't get the full effect of the lights and you did get a bit of a sore neck looking up for a long period. I would however recommend this event to others and would go to something similar in the future.

Fabulous light show. We were in a side pew in the Altar in the Cathedral and didn’t understand or get the full impression of the light show. We were able to stay for another showing and saw it straight on - very well done.

Unique experience

The display was interesting and entertaining but it would have benefitted from more introduction and interpretation. The organisation of the event could have been better. There was no explanation as to whether we could simply visit the space on our own or (as we discovered) had to sit and watch the presentation at specific timings. We ended up seated in the choir stalls and didn't have a particularly good view.
The associated 'illumination' of varous buildings (advertised as carlisle - City of lights) was very poor.

Fantastically done, although local council could have briefed the volunteers to be better organised with directing the public. But event itself was amazing, excellent in fact, a thoroughly well done piece of entertainment and story telling with amazing visuals and sounds!
