Sound was good, sat at front and was able to see the TV really well as it showed the food being cooked, at 3 pm on the Saturday the marquee was not very full and this may have been down to the advertising of the event although I cannot be sure. Pleasingly it was free to enter. The demonstration was good and fun too with an opportunity to taste the produce and/or buy some cheese at the end. Purchasing of cheese it seemed was cash only. I think he marquee could have been decorated more to add to the atmosphere, it was quite bland, a few free-standing boards dotted around would have helped,although there was music playing as one entered which made a difference. Could not fault the chef. Would go to see him again.

Sean Wilson's cookery demo was good entertainment.
My Dad (in his 90s with dementia) came to life and had the biggest smile ever seen. He loved being able to sample the food too.

The food was delicious and provided much 'food for thought'!!

Poor. He can't even cook a pan cake using pre packet pancake. Had to get another chef to step in. Poor event.

This tour was excellent! What a way to find out more about the history of Carlisle, its buildings and its colourful inhabitants. The girl leading the tour was extremely knowledgeable and delivered the information in a manner perfect for the subject i.e. she was relating true facts alongside peoples own experiences which depend on the listener to believe or not. She didn't try to sensationalise anything, and was the more intriguing for that! I would highly recommend this tour, as long as it was with the same leader ( so sorry, I can't remember her name... ), as these sort of things totally depend on the person delivering the information. Fantastic ghost tour of Carlisle; interesting and informative, with some gruesome stories as well. Jo is a really great tour guide and really captivates her audience. My sister and I moved to Carlisle a year ago and this is one of the best things we've done since living here!
