Excellent! Fab wee festival.

Fab venue in the beautiful Cumbrian countryside and such a family friendly festival that still caters for adults of all ages. It has changed venue this year and the camping areas were much better organised and we had a pitch with views of the tarn which was lovely. The loos were cleaned more frequently too which made a difference. All stewards and security are friendly and it feels very safe. It would be good to see more traders like there used to be and food stands as this was very limited and there was very little to look around this year. Kids area still great but workshops for grown ups also needed. Thank you Solfest for another great festival and my family are really hoping that there is a Solfest 2020.

My only disappointment was the overall choice from the food outlets- very little fresh produce at all and limited vegetarian and vegan options

dirty toilets, too few water stands,
most of the music was disappointing,- tribute type bands, lack of talent, overlap of music from different venues, FEWER acts but of better calibre would have been better.
No other entertainment - eg yoga, meditation, crafts
sports day events were poor and limited, poorly organised
lack of info re the acts - programme not very informative, and no info boards
staff were friendly, kites were impressive. and good weather - we left early

Been going for years and love it every time. This year we had family with us, small children,late teens and grandparents and everyone loved it, Something for everyone.
It has a big festival family feeling which we love and can't wait to go back too.

I love solfest but for whatever reason this year they moved site, had less stalls, poorer bands (they had some blinders but only a few) and less activities. It was meant to be the last one which should have been awesome. If they'd engaged their punters more we could have brought more 'stuff' and contributed to a more magical interesting festival. For the first year in 15 years solfest was a bit of a dissapointment for me this year :(

Had a fabulous time at Solfest 15. Everyone is so friendly, music is great, drinks are reasonably priced and new site is very good. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience but would hate for the event to get too big.

we only booked for the saturday but enjoyed it that much we went back on the sunday great family friendly atmosphere ,safe for the kids to wander around on their own everyone so friendly very well organised will be going again next time

not as good as previous years- too much sound interference between stages. but still a great locally grounded festival.

A beautiful little festival in a truly scenic spot! Everyone is so lovely and loves to party which makes the atmosphere even better.
