first time doing camping and festival and lived it. Disappointed that there was no showers or washing facilities.

This is the third year I have been and it is a wonderful festival. This year I understand was pulled together by the local community. The negative for this year: litter, less “hippy vibe” more commercial this year and 100% more litter, plastic dumped. Sound was too loud which isn’t fair on the bands playing when the volume is too loud for people to even stand in the tent to watch them. Especially the ‘bar tent’. Less is more. The constant thud, thud, thus isn’t what Solfest is about. Tents shouldn’t be fighting for sound. I really hope they get the investment and it returns to its former glory next year. The shopping village, amazing art work, Little vegan cafes, lots of small marques for various music rather than less and larger ones. Still one of the events I look forward to every year. I have heard so many amazing bands and Dj’s. I love it.

very disappointed at the lack of things to do from a family focus considering it was advertised as family friendly. disappointed at lack of food vendors and stalls also. music was competing with each other due to venue layout.

Despite this event being their Last, it was my first time experiencing Solfest. As ever, the weather was ideal for a festival, nevertheless, the organisers, in my view, made efforts, equal to that of previous events I have attended, It was great.

New venue which was smaller but maybe it’s time for it to grow bigger and better with new directors back to how it used to be! Needs more traders and food stands back with more things for adults to do next year
