If you haven’t encountered The K’s impassioned bangers, catch up: they’ve sold out a UK Tour, opened the Main Stage at Neighbourhood Festival, opened the Isle of Wight Festival Main Stage, as well as the Leeds and Reading & Kendal Calling Festival Main stages. They tore the roof down at this year's Tramlines, with hundreds unable to get into the big top to see them play and have played before Liam Gallagher in Greece as well as supporting Mancunian stalwarts James in Spain and US icons Blondie on a large UK outdoor show.
Their streams are also getting comfortably in the millions - not bad for a band from Warrington’s sunny Earlestown. Their gigs are a guaranteed riot. This pulsing live reputation shouldn’t overlook the sophistication that gives The K’s their immediately identifiable blueprint though.
So where next? As they put the finishing touches to their debut album it is clear that with each new release The K’s will just keep growing. A cult sensation, an irresistible, irrefutable spirit, welcoming to anyone who wants to join and escape into a better, more hopeful world. After all, they’ll be playing all your favorite songs.. “put em on, put em on, put em on, put em on”
