Review of Tam Petty/The Rising (Petty/Springsteen Tribute Evening)
I'm not a fan of Springsteen so, The Rising was a cabaret to me. I didn't recognise the swagger of the lead singer but, was impressed with the Patti Smith rendition. The Tam Petty band were good in all sections, particularly the bass player.

Sadly not very well attended, but those of us who were there had a great time. I would defo see both of those bands again and visit The Brickyard in Carlisle again

Shonen Knife were unbelievable! All the best songs from lots of albums . Highlights: Cobra v Mongoose, Riding on a Rocket, Banana Chips, Green Tea (sung by Risa â¤ï¸) Then they did their own merch stall, chatting and signing and being adorable. Iâm in a dream ð¥°

Review of Tragedy x Nanowar of Steel
First time seeing Nanowar of Steel, very entertaining band, great musicians, Tragedy are one of the most entertaining bands around, every song they play, you know, just played with a heavy metal beat, the Brickyard is a great venue for live music, compact with a fabulous atmosphere, the staff are brilliant and friendly, been here a couple of times, enjoyed all of our visits.

Review of Tragedy x Nanowar of Steel
It's often difficult to find a band that compliments Tragedy's form of entertainment yet now we have the best yet in the form of Nanowar. A band that needs to be seen to be believed. Tragedy may have been away for three years, but they've returned firing on all cylinders decimating everything. The best £20 you'll spend in 2023.
