I have seen a far better Fleetwood Mac tribute band at Butlins, and the atmosphere was very flat-not many people attended the event either. Fortunately the tickets were cheap, so not a total loss. Usually the Players Lounge is a great venue, so unusually disappointed.

We arrived at the event no one on the entrance to scan our tickets , no security staff.We arrived around 8.30. So could have saved the entrance fee. There were hardly any guests in the venue, bar was dirty, drinks too ages to be made… bar mad did apologise. Loads of empty tables. Music was poor, guests were leaving.
We stuck it out for an hour and 45 mins as we were leaving people were on the steps saying how rubbish it was. We moved on to French Martini who were playing R n B and garage new and old. Wouldn’t go to another event at players lounge.. what a disappointment
Shame as it could be a good venue.

We had a great morning and we’ll definitely do it again. Only disappointment was that the pancakes were shop bought out of packets and not hand made. Chocolate sauce was cheap tasting and not Nutella. But over all was good.
