Was an unexpectedly older crowd. Made me feel very young at 41. Was also expecting more R&B. He played mostly disco / soul and was not to my music taste at all.

Excellent venue, fantastic music, not only coming from Trevor Nelson as you'd expect, but the resident DJ that evening called DJ Dlux, was amazing!!!!.... Had a fabulous time and would highly recommend to those looking for a great evening out.

An enjoyable night but nowhere near value for money. The music played by the warm up DJ was excellent but when Trevor finally arrived everything went downhill. Technically it sounded like a speaker had packed up during the set plus there were several gaps.
I would pay a smaller fee to see the first DJ again but wouldn’t bother about Trevor.
Lovely venue.... my first visit ? x

First time at Players Lounge will definitely be back - great crowd of porpoise just out to enjoy themselves - plenty of bar staff and security staff were really nice and kind too

Such a great night...with the most relaxed and chilled crowd. The music was good all night, although a little too much drum and base for me and not enough variety. Lovely amount of room on the floor and great staff at the venue.

A great little venue for an intimate gig with The Overtones. Brilliant atmosphere. We ate at the venue and the food was really nice and reasonably priced. Friendly staff. We’ll be back I’m sure!
