Review of SOULTASIA - Essex 2024
This is the 3rd year we have come to soultasia. I would recommend it someone who hasn't been before. I did feel like it was too busy in the vip area this year. I also noticed there was alot of people coming into VIP with no wrist band as well, which was frustrating. But people are lovely, atmosphere really good and friendly. The acts that we get to see are amazing also.

Love this event each year but always have the same comments re non alcoholic drinks. Why no zero drinks at bar and no fruit juices or squashes? If you don't like fizzy drinks it's only water instead. Also why isn't tea and coffee sold nearer to the bar?

Ridiculous though how you are not allowed to take a picnic. I understand alcohol but even then just limit it to 1 bottle of wine and 6 beers as its £30 for a mediocre bottle on wine in a paper cup! Other than that great day 😀

Biggest problem is the cost of refreshments and food, captive market £7.00 for a can of lager, £30 for a cheap bottle of wine, £2.50 for a can of c**e, bit excessive in my opinion. No water fountains or refill stations in VIP area as promissed or stated on event guide, toilets dirty and not cleaned and checked. could have saved loads of money by not adhering to the rules of bringing own food and refreshments, lots of other festival goers, flaunted the rules and got away with it.
I would go again, but the basics need to be addressed in my opinion.

Had a great day but poor line up this year. Queues for loos were ridiculous. Looking forward to next year with better bands. DJs were the only ones keeping momentum going as bands fell a bit flat.

Unbelievable value. So many top line artist for such a low price. Worth it for Lisa Stansfield alone. Can't go wrong. Just a shame it turned so chilly which meant some left early. Some outlets for just hot drinks would be helpful, just on food stall served them and as a result queues were ridiculous.
