Cheltenham Promenade

This year, Green & Black’s Organic is touring the UK in a beautiful, colourful vintage van and partnering with local foodie heroes to create special recipes for local communities. As part of this, the much loved chocolate brand will be visiting Cheltenham on the 20th November. Green and Black’s are collaborating with The Swallow Bakery to put an extra special chocolate twist on the historic Gloucestershire recipe – the Oldbury Tart. Passed through the generations for over 200 years, the Oldbury Tart is a traditional recipe using gooseberries. Swallow’s team of master bakers and Brandt Maybury, Taste Specialist at Green & Black’s, are currently cooking up a storm to create a truly scrumptious masterpiece for the people of Cheltenham. A taste of the exclusive recipe will be available on Friday 20th November from the beautiful Green & Black’s Taste & Colour van on Cheltenham Promenade by Cavendish House. Come along and try the bake for yourself! The recipe will be served just in time for lunch, at 12pm, and if you don’t want to miss out on this delicious treat, we recommend coming earlier rather than later as once it’s gone, it’s gone. There will also be delicious Green & Black’s chocolate available to try throughout the day from 10am.
