Review of Space - Anti - Supermarket New Brighton 4/12/21

As a band that has been around for many years it is often the case that the singer's voice has gone and the music is tired and in need of a refresh.  Not so in this case: Space were excellent and as exuberant and vibrant as they have always been.  Tommy Scott's voice has stood the test of time as has his typical scouse connection with this audience.  

The band have new music with a new, younger vibe to it and introduced it to New Brighton and was very well received.  Their major hits were saved for the later parts of the set including the encore which, after a coupe of hours in a cold building, really warmed everybody up.

Space is my wife's band but she couldn't go due to illness but I am glad I went and will surely go again.

I'm a big fan of Space from teen years, so couldn't wait to see them!
Music was excellent, which included both guest bands.
The venue whilst being new for music offered plenty of space (excuse the pun).......however more people would of offered louder atmosphere. 
However the atmosphere was pretty decent, and indeed Space got a rousing reception and great fanfare from their fans.
The bathroom facilities weren't brilliant, felt like I was at an indoor festival, but that won't stop me returning to the venue in the future. 
Excellent gig overall though

I loved everything about it so much I’d definitely go again 

Good venue, staff great. Could do with more staff on the bar, only 1 on each bar so I queued for about 30 minutes to get my drinks. All in all, great evening. 

Fantastic night and space did not disappoint, awesome 

Had a great night at space gig atmosphere was great fun only possible negative was queuing for the bar we only bothered having one drink each as couldn’t be bothered standing in the queue again but bar staff were great and down a good job
