Review of Gin and Disco returns to Carriage Shed - Chester
Thought it was expensive for the cans of beer and no choice ( 2 types of beer and one of those wasn’t available )but the gin prices were good. Better choice of food should be made available, nothing available for Vegetarians. Overall a great event

Review of The Rum Festival Chester
I had a good hour and a half but what our £9.99 tickets actually bought us escapes me. The free samples are nothing more than sips. The 'free' punch couldn't have tasted any less like rum than tap water. There was a fantastic choice of rums but at £5 a single shot, we didn't buy many. The free (empty) glass was just the right size to hold the tiny, weak, £8 c**ktails. Hardly any seats but a nice space. The music was ok, as were the staff. Only one food stall. I drink more rum on a Friday night, at home, at a fraction of the price. Luckily, I was with good company, so I had a belting night. However, this event is definitely not worth the ticket price.

Review of The Rum Festival Chester
No music for the first hour so limited atmosphere. Also not enough seating so difficult to enjoy the food. A bit disappointing overall so we left early. Maybe it livened up later!

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
It’s a great idea and a really nice place to have such an event with a great atmosphere I’m just not sure why you would pay £8 to get into it. I can’t see people continually paying for such an event every year. Would be better bring free, still ticketed but free tickets

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
Loved the carriage shed. a great few hours to spend meeting traders and customers alike.
Gins were wonderfully tasty. More so then in a pub which is interesting.
Food served was really delicious, very moreish. Music was great and loved the beat. I can't wait till next year and as any festival it will get even better.
We enjoyed the baking celeb experience. very entertaining.
Seeing that this was the first Gin & bake Festival I wish it all success for the future

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
A lovely event with friendly stall holders/ catering staff . The weather was dry so that makes a big difference to the success of these outdoor events! Well organised . Would come again.

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
It was ok but not as good as I expected! Not able to buy a gin & tonic from the gin stalls only the main bar?! Very unfair! The cakes were ok but not ‘the best in the north’ as advertised. It was all just a bit of a let down unfortunately.

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
The stalls that were there were excellent but I feel the space could have been used more effectively to have more stalls with deck chairs as a seating area, also more street food would have been good for example, curry/noodles.
