Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
lovely small but classy festival. my only peve was that considering the evening tickets are the same price as the afternoon, it was disappointing to see so many stalls close so early! i felt in that respect, i didnt get my moneys worth, and wasnt able to spend more on things id have liked to. also the bar being cash only caused some issues!

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
There was a lack of stalls, 1 bar and 3 outlets for food. The music performer was changed last minute and the replacements were dreadful. We stayed for less than an hour and left.

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
Took friends who had never been to a gin fest before and we were very disappointed very few stands for gin and the ones that were there were very expensive. Normally you get some good deals if you buy on the day
Tiny little samples to share between 4 people ??
Should have given everyone an itinary of the event we arrived in the evening approx 7 pm so no welcome drink and the baking demo had finished
Overall the £8 entrance fee was a waste of money

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
Not what I expected as I have attended other gin festivals. This was more of a bake show with cake and sweet stalls with very little gin. The bar wasn’t very clear what gins they had for sale and the display stalls did offer tasters but then we’re not available to buy as a full drink in the one bar. I think this was more suited to the baking audience.
Lovely setting and venue though sorry just not for me.

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
Awful venue. Emailed to check access (wheelchair user) and was told that everything was wheelchair accessible. When I arrived, nothing was wheelchair accessible - toilets, seating, bars, stalls. Terrible experience, so would not reccomend. I left after an hour as unable to access anything seating, bars, stalls, food, drink, toilets.

Lovely place to hold the event but the price of the tickets didn’t reflect what you got. To hold it on a bank holiday weekend and not allow children was a strange organisational decision. Having gin and cakes made it sound like a family event.
If you had got a drink with the price of the ticket or a goodie bag with little samples in might have made it seem better value.
Very glad our tickets were complimentary but ruined a family afternoon out so we only stayed 20 mins as nothing grabbed our attention enough to stay.

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
Absolutely had a great afternoon here. Great venue, food was good and the gins were amazing. A little bit expensive though and they weren't even using any of the gins that were being advertised on any of the stalls in the bar which I thought they would be so you could taste them properly. They probably would of sold a lot more gin if that had been the case and a lot more money would of been taken. Other than that, the day was great.

Review of Chester Gin & Bake Festival
i have been to many food shows and was really looking forward to this one but thought the choices of gin very pour and the prices quite frankly outrageous you can by the same gins online or in the supermarket cheaper. I have never been to a good show and not bought anything every show usually has show offers and samples . great idea but needs some work you need to send a researcher to Ludlow, Shrewsbury or even mold if you want people to come back
