A lot of hype, surprisingly disappointing once we arrived. It was just a yard with a two or three food stalls and a couple bars. The choir enjoyed themselves. We stayed 30 mins and left. We were expecting something more in line with the Manchester Christmas Market.

There were not many stalls there sadly, it was a very cold day which was not your fault, but the free chester market in the centre of town was much better, to charge £3.00 each was quite bad, as it was not worth the price unfortunately

Absolutely rubbish. A very disappointing trip. Very few stalls & most only selling fast food.

Hello we attended carriage shed festival in chester in September and loved it! So we asked relatives to come along with us today and prebooked tickets.
The weather was bad today but we braved it as we had paid for tickets.
It's was really disappointing to see very few stalls - mainly food not many hand made products for sale. We walked in -4 adults and 5 kids and walked straight out. Waste of money. There was no one to speak to about a refund but I certainly think I deserve one.

Maybe the weather but no atmosphere and about 4/5 stalls. Place was empty from both guests and stalls, didn’t stay more than 5 mins.

Blink and you miss it, not enough there wouldn’t go again, more food and drink at Christmas markets.

A festival this most certainly is not!!!!
A few stalls selling hot food (truffle fries were delicious) Then you had 8 vendors: 5 of which were selling art?!?!?!? And 3 cake stalls! Ridiculous.
We didn't manage to stay longer than an hour, there was no reason to. There was no produce to buy to bring home. Also the location was awful! No shelter from the elements-it was wind trap! We were so cold it actually hurt.
This is the UK in December! It needs to be indoors or better sheltered at least.
Over hyped, total let down. Won't be going again

I,ve being to many food and beers festivals i must this has to be the worst one evere we spent all of 10 minutes in their and we where not the only walking out after 10 minutes .Lack of food tents and beers tents i will not be going back and will not be telling my friends to stay away.

Had a lovely evening despite the freezing weather. I booked two vip tables but spent most of the night feeling guilty & politely stoping people from sitting at them as I had paid over £100 for them. Maybe reserved signs would be helpful in the future. Other than that great music & lovely food.

Major disappointment, not many food stalls at all, total waste of time and money. The free Christmas market by the town hall was 100 times better.

absolutely rubbish feel like as a family we have been robbed wasn't worth paying any money for tickets and parking prices were astronomical absolutely poor show of stalls and felt we were misleaded into the event being bigger even one of the few stall holders said she was so disappointed in what was there will not be going again

Absolutely AWFUL! £3 ticket price for 7 shabby stalls this was not at all what i expected! The makers market that is usually held in the same venue is 1000% better than this and is free entry.
I most definitely will not be attending again and will be warning others not to go

Weather didn’t help and there weren’t that many stands. It’s a great idea but needs better execution. Mulled wine costs were disgraceful.

There was hardly anything there! So glad I'm local and didn't gave to travel to get there as I would have been so disappointed. We've been to food festivals at the carriage shed before and this one was rubbish.

Only a handful of stalls.
The food and drink stalls were fairly expensive for what they were, and at our 11.30 am slot were not all up and running. By the time we had left!
