Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
We had 4 tickets for Saturday slot 4.30 apart that the weather was bad I thought it was inside and not just undercover. We thought it was a disgrace only a couple of stalls and within 3 minutes we had seen it. Why you needed a slot I don’t know nobody checked It was a waste of £ 12.00. We traveled 1,5 hours on the train for 3 minutes, next year I’ll know not to bother.
Regards.

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
Totally appealing we had tickets for the second time slot and due to poor attendance earlier some traders had already packed up and gone...really disappointing...we stayed less than 10minutes. It didn't help that as we were getting food another Custer was returning a raw chicken wrap he had already half eaten. It's such a fab venue and I've lived other events there but perhaps this was too close to Xmas for a decent attendance and the weather was awful which cant be helped

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
We had bought 4 tickets and didn’t need them, anyone could walk in without being stopped. Only stayed for 1 drink that was priced ok. Didn’t stay long enough to hear any live music. No where need as big or as many stalls as I was expecting. Cold weather didn’t help. We left at 4:30 and some stalls were already packing up. Really just an outside pub which would have been great if that was what we wanted.
Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
Well.... there were about 6 stalls doing hot food, 3 or so selling cakes/fudge, one bar and 1 mulled wine stall. Nice enough but a bit underwhelming. The live music was good and the food we had was nice, but after an hour we were done. The food and drink seemed a bit more expensive than other similar markets and our cups of mulled wine, already small enough, were actually half a cup full of fruit so very little liquid. The festival was much smaller than I expected for a ticketed event.
Go to Manchester Christmas market for free and much more choice of food and wine.

shocking event. Wasn't even in the place 10 minutes. Limited stalls, all very expensive, mostly food stalls. The so called shelter did not protect us from elements as stated, in fact it probably made them worse. Never again would I attended this event.

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
Bought a VIP table, had to wait on arrival as people were still on it. Got a bucket with 3 Christmas crackers in, next to a heater which was hardly working!! I don’t understand what was VIP about it and why timeslots where needed. It was half empty, no atmosphere. Didn’t feel festive at all. Quite frankly think I’m due a refund as I feel ripped off!!!! It’s a disgrace you got charged to go in there. Let alone £50 odd pounds!

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
I personally didn’t like it .. besides the weather being shocking and some of the venue being open to the elements .. it wasn’t what I expected! Lots of stands cooking hot food which all looked delicious and a bar selling over inflated priced drinks ! I was expecting stalls selling Christmas food /goodies to take away maybe a few gift stands .. stayed 20 mins .. could of bought hot food from the numerous shops around Chester without paying... although the people selling the pictures by the entrance where lovely .. like a big cafe selling hot food .. very disappointed!

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
Extremely disappointed! The smallest festival I have ever been too. Totally not worth the entrance Fee. No idea why we had to be allocated a time slot when we went round the whole thing in 2 minutes.
