Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
I don’t think they can justify calling it a food festival. The entry fee gave you access to a handful of food, drink and gift stalls and a man playing a guitar.
I fail to see the reason why we had to pay an entry fee when the stalls inside charge for the items. Chester market is much better and you don’t have to pay an entry fee to get in.

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
I was very disappointed when I arrived, there was hardly any stalls and was expecting lots of Xmas stalls along with the drinks and food. Also weather disappointed everything so I was not good.

Review of Chester Christmas Food & Drink Festival
Awful , I thought there would be so much more than a few stands selling alcohol and a few stands selling takeaway food and 1 craft store , disappointing to say the least

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
The event was nice enough, but very small and wasn't worth the price of the ticket. Once we got in there, there were very few stands, and the drinks were expensive, especially on top of the ticket price. It was a reasonably nice atmosphere but we were most disappointed that real disco songs were rare, and most of the music was just bass-heavy remixes. There was very little food for such a long event and the fact that it was cash only was also a little archaic.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Disappointing. not really sure what the ticket price covered? no toilet roll, sinks or mirrors in the crappy smelly porta-loos. Poor quality over priced drinks. No seats or tables. Music was ok. I only managed 2 hours before leaving. Would not recommend and would not attend another.....not at £25 a pop anyway.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Great day/ night. Ticket a bit pricey good selection of gin but thought there might have been a few more stalls. Toilets need a little attention, a bit of toilet roll wouldn't go a miss! Shame it was quiet at the end, Greg was good. A few said they would have liked to hear some well known disco tunes to get them going but each to their own. Wouldn't pay for a full price ticket to go again but I would probably consider the payday deal again.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
This was my first time at an event at the Carriage Shed in Chester and was pleasantly surprised how good a venue it was. Should do more events like this there. Sound system was excellent (Funktion One). Toilets and drinks etc where just fine, no big queues for either. Music was ok but bordered on the slightly cheesy and obvious for my likeing , think the djs played it too safe with the music choices, but maybe thats just me.. roll on the next Gin & Disco event here in chester.. recommended.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Really good venue, great music, nice atmosphere. On the down side, prices of drinks were too high. Beer warm and not refrigerated. The festival toilets were ill equipped to cope with demand and large queues formed. Also the entry price was too steep for what you got. One cup of pink gin. Every other gin festival we have been to has been cheaper and you got more drinks for your money. Overall a good day but let down by the above. Could do better.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Massively overpriced ticket to get in £25, I thought this would include some tasters of gin, you got the music for your money that’s was it!!!! So so disappointed took my two friends for their birthdays, could have got so much more for our £75, a complete rip off. Arrived at 5, there were a few small gin stalls with half a dozen flavours and a larger stall which should have had wine but ran out. Stall we went to for gin and tonic ran out of tonic, very expensive at £7 for gin and tonic. One small food stall only! It was a rave not a disco, needed music for all ages . Portable toilets disgusting. Left early, someone is making slot of money out of rippingvalot if people off, a real joke 😡

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
It could of been great , the music was good, more effort on the venue dressing please, and the lack of seating or tables to put your drink was a real problem , the bar area was poorly thought out with customers having no protection from the rain , which meant you got soaking wet while waiting for over priced drinks £5 for a gin was too much , and the toilets were not really up to standard a caravan wash room would of been a much better option

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Entry and drinks far too expensive.
Poor quality bar and food choice.
Venue and music great.
Toilets awful.
Loads of potential and lower prices would equal better attendence numbers and atmosphere.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Had a fab time but I was expecting Old Skool DISCO music - this didn't spoil my day. Prices for drinks was OTT at £7 especially when some of the popular Gins ran out. Fantastic venue and hope to go again.
