Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Not sure what the £24 was for, the poor toilets, lack of atmosphere or badly organised bars.
The organisers need to look at the prosecco festival at the Camp & Furness in Liverpool to see how things are done properly
It could have potential but it needs a re-think and if it's a gin festival make more effort with the main event
Very poor

Music good.
Venue - bars kept running out of things eg fruit or certain drinks on menu etc.. toilet facilities not nice
Price of entrance expensive for what you got and then drinks to buy expensive.
Atmosphere ok but not full

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
I couldn’t work out what we had paid £25 a ticket for? The music was not what I would call disco, it was more of house music. Venue was also a let down. Drinks were £7 each, which you had to drink out or paper or plastic cups. usually at Gin festivals you receive a glass when you arrive which you keep with you and drinks are around £5. Again, I was very disappointed in the day and do not oink it was worth the money charged at all!

What a great gig! The music dipped a little too deep late afternoon but once the uplifting vocal tunes started again.. everyone was well up for it right until the end!
Now want to try same gig.. different venues!
We continue.. 😊

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
Was very expensive for what it was. £7 for a gin and tonic. For £25 entrance you only got a drink upon entry. Couldn't sample any of the gins. There wasn't much places to sit. Portaloos ran out of toilet paper early. Not very impressed. Won't be going again.

Review of Gin and Disco Festival Chester
For £25 I thought it wasn’t great. A lot of the gins on the list were not available. I didn’t think it was organised well. One free gin on arrival with Tesco’s own tonic! Plastic cups, no drinks tokens. I understand they have overheads, but I don’t think that it was worth the money at all. We’ve been to a lot of drink festivals and this has to be the worst one we’ve been too. Definitely not recommend.
We all thought it was pretty rubbish for the price we paid. Will be putting in a complaint direct to them.

I think the idea was great... but it needs some improvements.
It wasn’t clear what you got for the price - not much as it turns out. And then to see that people could get in for £16 on the day was a bit of a shock... when we paid £24. It didn’t feel like value for money. Even the glitter which sounded as though it was included, cost extra!
Just one food stall for all those people? We left to eat elsewhere and then just didn’t come back.
Bars - massively understaffed, huge wait times. Card payments weren’t easy.
Toilets - not checked, no toilet roll by 4pm!
Overall it was really disappointing - and we all felt the same way. It had the potential to be great. But we all agreed we would choose Upton Beer Festival at £10 a ticket with entertainment, reasonable prices for drinks and a choice of food stalls over this event in future.

£24 entry ticket was extortionate for what the event was, especially when drinks were £7 each. the music was great just a shame the prices put a damper on things. you need to reevaluate your entry/ticket prices.
