Not what we thought had been advertised. More of a disco with a DJ that you wouldn’t pay that much to attend. We love gospel singers but this wasn’t what we thought we were getting as was the same for some others there that we spoke to. We left early. Expensive night.

This was a total misrepresentation of what the actual event was advertised as.It was basically a rave for the younger generation and was totally unsuitable for the older person. The cost was an absolute ripoff advertising “ seats are running out” We paid £50 each hoping to have the best view. How wrong were we. We could have just paid for the cheapest “seats” which were right at the back with “dance floor” in front of us which was full of young people dancing Basically were were robbed and it is a disgrace. Several people of our age walked out really raging. I will be asking for my money back but doubt I will get anywhere.

Absolutely amazing night, superb music, great venue and fair price for tickets. However bar prices were high and ridiculous to charge £5 for bottle of water. Overall fantastic night but please consider water prices next time.

Review of West End Musicals

So, we were very much looking forward to this. Within seconds of the start it was apparent there was a sound issue. I expected a sound engineer to quickly fix this but then realised this was not going to be the case. There was no engo, there was nothing.
The show continued, we couldn’t hear the singing, even as a front third ‘a’ group.
Many people left at the interval as they couldn’t hear the performance. We did too. Sadly.
Spoke to a guy as we left and it seems the company running the show didn’t want to pay to use the cathedral audio system and turned up with their own stuff, a few speakers, which simply didn’t fill a cathedral. Nil points!
