Review of The Chester Fields annual fireworks display
Just feedback but poor bonfire placement and no lighting near it, dangerous step to navigate in the dark to car park whilst carrying children.
Too many people allowed in so very tight especially with children trying to run around.
Food quite basic and token system frustrating.
Fantastic fireworks

Review of The Chester Fields annual fireworks display
First timer here and it didn't disappoint. They've obviously done it before as it operated like a well oiled machine - no massive queues for drinks or food. A lovely evening and the best fireworks!

Review of The Chester Fields annual fireworks display
It was an expensive fireworks option. Unfortunately, you could not see the bonfire; there seemed to be far too many people there. The area to stand outside was very dark and muddy, with limited views of the fire. The food options were limited and expensive. You also had to queue for a tick*t and then queue for your food. I think this could be great-more lighting outside, more seats/tables outside, repositioning the fire so people can view it (it also blows over the car park, which wasn't ideal). Overall the event, at £11.25 a tick*t, was dark, muddy, and busy and we mostly ended up standing on the carpark able to see the bonfire but he fireworks were good.

Review of The Grinch Steals Christmas
While the entertainment for the grinch party was fab, we were unaware that the party was not in fact 3hrs as advertised and that it was one hour time slots that had apparently been sent out by email (I did not receive an email). Luckily I had rung so we arrived for our time slot and we were seated essentially in a hallway upstairs just outside the toilets which completely ruined the ambiance. It was just essentially a hallway with some tables stored and our table before going into the beautiful room next to it that overlooked the restaurant. The staff also didn't really tell us what the deal was... the "craft" was colouring, the squash was extremely watered down (I get it for
Kids though..) however the pizza was delicious and they made sure to keep bringing it around. The girls seemed to get a bit friendlier which was good however they were all sat at the large table in the entranceway on their phones having a drink on the way out and ignored all of us when we said
Goodbye. The grinch and the pizza saved this event!

Review of The Grinch Steals Christmas
The place looked lovely and the Grinch himself was funny for the 2 mins he was at our table. I believed he would be causing chaos. But it wasn't like that at all, it was more having pizza with meet and greet from the Grinch. Half out table got one slice of pizza each and the rest were missed. Never came back. We left shortly after The Grinch came to our table and went to another restaurant for food. I wouldn't recommend unless your child is happy to quickly meet the Grinch and your fussed about food.

Review of The Grinch Steals Christmas
Was not as advertised and certainly not worth the money. Tickets said included a childrens and adults buffet but we got 1 slice of pizza and cordial. The 'Craft station' was pictures of the grinch printed off and the grinch spent a few minutes on each table was not 'entertainment' as advertised. Such a waste of money and not as advertised. We all left very disappointed. Would not recommend. Chesterfields as a pub and resturant is lovely though, just this event which was poor.

Review of The Grinch Steals Christmas
Advert for the event didn't match reality - £15 per child only included one slice of pizza/squash & grinch- £10 per adult = a mulled wine we had to ask for. Really poor value for money very disappointing- best thing was the grinch himself
