Great evening at The Live Rooms, Chester watching Mused. Been fortunate enough to have seen Muse live and these guys sound just as good.

For the final live performance of the full album Catherine and the band were in fantastic fettle. A friendly crowd gave easy rapport for the Anchoress to feed off and the music did not disappoint. A confident note perfect set from Long Year to Rivers of Ice with particular favourites of mine PSFU and What Doesn't Kill You being highlights. Can't wait for new material to hear both recorded and live. A quick note about support act Edits - an up and coming Mancunian outfit with really interesting sounds and a soaring vocal that reminded me a little of Coctea Twins (although you could tell what this lady was singing) which is praise indeed. I will look out for them in Manchester hopefully later in the year.
