Review of Chorley Flower Show 2024
Myself and my sister bought a weekend ticket to enable Myself and mum to go Friday and my sister and mum to go Sunday,unfortunately I was informed when we arrived that we had to wear wristbands which cannot be used by someone else, extremely disappointed and not aware of this,this meant my sister couldn't go and we paid for 3 days but only used it once,total waste of money,if we had been aware of this we would have paid on the day. I understand that something has to be in place to stop people from taking advantage of the weekend pass, but equally something should be 8n place for a multiple use pass. All in all a very expensive day which was spoiled and full of disappointment.

Review of Chorley Flower Show 2024
We had visited the RHS Show at Tatton Park recently which we felt was not as good as usual. your event at Astley Park was much more enjoyable. The atmosphere was good, the food was excellent, plenty of stalls and displays. Good parking.
That's the good bits. My only criticism is that as I am disabled I have to use an electric mobility scooter. so I brought my own. unfortunately I had to leave the marquees as the wheels kept getting stuck in the ground where there was not matting laid down. This was only the first day, so I shudder to think of what it would have been like at the end of the weekend. May I suggest full matting down in both marquees. Next year I'll hire one of the trampers, but that poses another problem. how do I get from the car into the park itself as it's quite a way from the car park? the traffic marshalls were very efficient and friendly.
Other than the scooter situation, the day was very enjoyable and we'll be there next year.

It's a lovely park to have the flower show. There were lots to see and items to purchase and some lovely displays. Plenty of refreshments to eat and drink.It was a lovely day out.

lovely relaxing atmosphere
plenty of places to sit down,
relax and enjoy some food from the many
food stalls and plenty of variety
you can buy some beautiful plants and flowers
all from very helpful stall holders who will advise you
of the best plants for your needs

Review of Chorley Flower Show 2024
Chorley Flower Show has got better year on year and obviously a lot of work has gone into it. A lovely, friendly atmosphere with plenty of seating available, lots of stalls and food outlets with a good variety of foods. Loved the music as we walked around and I loved the arts and craft stalls. Well done Chorley Councilð¤

Lovely park, would definitely visit again. Would have liked more variety of stalls, flowers stalls seemed to be offering the same plants / flowers just at slightly different prices. More food stalls, vans would have been nice too.
