Funhouse Comedy Club - Comedy Night
Following the launch in November, Funhouse Comedy Club brings another night full of laughter to Bedworth Civic Hall on Friday January 31st.
Topping the bill is the fantastic magician and comedian Alan Hudson, who has appeared on ITV’s Penn and Teller, Britain’s Got Talent and ITV's Britain's Next Great Magician, where his balloon-popping trick went down a storm. Using his blend of stand up and stunning magic, he’ll firstly charm you and then with his natural wit, draw you in to his super unnatural world.
Opening the night will be Pierre Hollins who has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In the early days, he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner, appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner and toured with The Flying Pickets, Willie Rushton and Barry Cryer. He has completely re-invented his act several times. In a more recent incarnation, he was found wielding an electric squash racket! His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing.
Completing the line-up is the incredibly funny cutlery sage Ian Crawford, with his unique safety advice.
Compere for the night will be the amiable and modest Alex Hylton who captivates the room with his mix of one-liners and laid back anecdotes.
