Coventry Cathedral

Coventry Cathedral's position at the heart of the City of Coventry and the Coventry Diocese means it is a very busy place. It is first and foremost a church that follows its Benedictine roots with regular services during each day to which all are welcomed. Information about services can be found in the Worship section of this website. We also host a wide variety of events, concerts and exhibitions which are open to the public. Tickets may be purchased at the Cathedral Bookshop where charges apply. During the year we welcome thousands of schoolchildren who enjoy visiting this magnificent building, guided by experienced guides and teachers from our Schools Team. The Cathedral and the Ruins of the Old Cathedral are dramatic and stunning venues, which are frequently used for civic occasions, national services and broadcasts. They, along with a range of spaces within our buildings are available for hire. Someone attending an event recently said 'The unique element is being in the Cathedral itself. The building imposes its special character on all who take part; and the awe and wonder felt, is felt by everyone there- of all faiths, and by those with none.'
