Welcome to The Media Makeup & Photography Event 2017, hosted by The Professional Makeup Academy in collaboration with Rugby College Warwickshire.The show is designed to welcome those who want to discover more about the Media Makeup industry, students, lecturers and enthusiasts are all welcome.
The event will showcase SFX, Bodypainting, Props, Costume, Character Makeup, Photography, Hair Styling. With a selected number of leading universities and colleges on hand for those who are preparing for the next step.
Free Taster Classes will allow visitors to choose from a wide variety of subjects, with the opportunity to further develop their skill set by learning from the industry professionals.
Areas include: The Creative Artist Zone featuring Award Winning Body Painters, SFX Zone will host artists from tv, film and theatre, who will be demonstrating a character makeup, sculpting, prop making, and much more. Exhibitors Zone will host a variety of Industry suppliers who supply to the student community, colleges and professional industry where you will be able to pick up some show bargains. Educate Me, come along and take a Free Taster Class with a industry artist, where you will have a chance to learn a new skill set, watch a live demonstration. Photography Hub, check out our photographers work with the artists to capture the best image learn how to create the best image using simple equipment.
Our focus at this show is to continue with our ethos of good education for all, to ensure those visiting will have the opportunity to learn more about their required skill set whilst being entertained by the various demonstrations which will be available.
The event is open to all, including students, professionals artists, enthusiasts, photographers, & educators. The event extends a warm welcome to disabled guests and carers *Carers do not pay the ticket Fee*
The Student and Creative Artist Competition will be open to all artists who would like to showcase their creative skills, complimented by a Finale, Award Ceremony to crown our Winners, and present them with a stack of wonderful prizes.
The Event will play host to exhibitors from the professional media makeup industry, who will be on hand to showcase and demonstrate their craft.
Our Exhibitors come with a wealth of expertise and passion within their chosen field, combining their expertise in makeup, special effects, illustration, hair design, costume, prop making, body art, sculpting, & animatronics.
