Balaam and The Angelfirst emerged on the scene in 1983 and by 1984 had set up their own record labelChapter 22releasing three classic singles before signing a worldwide deal withVirgin Records.
As a major label act the band released a number critically acclaimed albums (The Greatest Story Ever ToldandLive Free Or Die) and were included on the soundtrack ofJohn Candy/Steve MartinmoviePlanes, Trains And Automobiles.
The band have toured consistently as headline act and as a guest to the likes ofThe Cult, Iggy Pop, Aerosmith, Kissand more recently by request ofThe Almighty.Such is the crossover diversity of appeal for the band.
In October 2024,Balaam And The Angelwill release their first newly recorded studio material for 30 years.
