Review of Cobra Beer presents: Comedy at the Castle - Sunday Night
We enjoyed the event but I do feel there was little communication between the venue and the organiser. Information on tickets was completely mis leading to what was on the website! Street food vendors were VERY expensive for what you got, so that needs looking into if this comes back next year please.

Review of Cobra Beer presents: Comedy at the Castle - Saturday Night
The first 3 acts, and Freddy Quinne, were absolutely brilliant. So funny that we were belly laughing. But the so called headline act... Simon Amstell was absolutely awful. There was no comedy, it seemed unrehea**ed and unprepared. His material was more like he was in a therapy session than trying to amuse people in the audience. He was so bad that we left after 10 minutes of his set. If I had been one of the other acts, I would have been sorely disappointed that he was headline and not me.

Review of Cobra Beer presents: Comedy at the Castle - Saturday Night
We had a lovely evening with friends. The first comedians were great and very funny it was a shame that the headline Simon Anstell act was awful, un prepared and not funny, looking at notes through out set. This put a dampener on the end of the evening. so we did not exactly get value for money.

Simon Amstell was terrible. Couldn't even be bothered to learn his (boring) set and was reading from a piece of paper. It was embarrassing to watch. The other acts were great but as headliner he ruined an expensive night. People were getting up and leaving.

Review of Cobra Beer presents: Comedy at the Castle - Saturday Night
Lovley venue, very expensive food and drink. - no music at venue - hence music score -
Comedy acts initially were brilliant and a real anti climactic end to the 'headline' act - I feel the whole crowd would have agreed this wasn't a lone person's opinion, many left before the end. This wasnt a cheap event, id hoped to have walked away after a real class final act.
