Took nearly 2 hours sitting in a car to get into the venue, everything inside massive overpriced. Fireworks show was very late starting. Will never visit again.
Absolutely shocking organisation.

Huge bonfire, amazing fireworks and the fair was good (although at least D**k Turpin had the decency to wear a mask, the fair side of it was a pricey).
Parking on the way in great, plenty of marshals. But, it took 40mins to get off site at the end, as there wasn’t a marshal anywhere to be seen!

If you havent been here before then yes it's a must on your list of bonfires and firework displays - you'll be able to tolerate the delay in the fireworks until 8:30is (as opposed to 8pm - 1.5 hours after they light the bonfire). Every year the organisation seems unable to manage the amount of traffic on the roads and people are still coming in to see the fireworks which delays the starting of them.

So future years we shall not be going here because of the self-imposed mis-management of the road system into and out of the display area. And we walked in!!

we never got to get into the venue due to the volume of traffic to get in could of been managed better due to this we wasted 25 pound and got to see nothing

The fireworks were great but everything there was way too expensive and felt ripped off. The lack of organisation when leaving was horrific, taking two hours just to get of the parking area. First and last time we will visit.

Far too many people allowed in making it feel unsafe and the car park management was poor. However the bonfire was impressive and the fireworks were beautiful to watch.

This was our first time at Betley and although the fireworks were amazing we will not be returning. Queued for an hour and a half to get in and the same to get out (and with a baby and 4 yr old in the car is not much fun for anyone). So for over £30 for my husband, little boy and I to get in, we only actually got an hour and a half at the event. Definitely not worth it for that money. It was advertised as ticket only event yet you could pay at the door. There must be a better way of controlling the traffic if number of ticket holders are known. Such a shame but I would consider watching from outside the venue next time as we won’t be going back in.

fireworks were great. lovely big fire. only problem is it took an hour and half to get off the field where u park but its a good event.

The event exceeded our expectations overall but we did think that the fireworks were on too late for the young ones.

Took over an hour to get in, Massively overcrowded inside, took 45mins to get a coffee. Rides, food and drink were also ridiculously expensive.
Definitely our last year attending.
