Overall a great day, however drinks were over priced, and security were a**holes. Surrounded me and threatened to kick me out for no reason and proceeded to stop me from buying drinks at the bar. Not impressed!

Review of Raver Tots Easter Special at Croydon Boxpark
Shouldn’t have been marketed as a family event. Far too many people in the space available to make this a child friendly occasion. Entry to the venue was confused and took ages. Not much for the children to actually do (massive queue for face painter, tired looking bouncy castles which weren’t well organised).
I was disappointed as the founder promotes his fundraising for autism and adhd charities so I wrongly assumed the would be some kind of chill out area available.
My child was in tears within minutes of arriving and we had to leave after an hour, most of which was spent outside and up in the balcony.

Review of Raver Tots Easter Special at Croydon Boxpark
We arrived and it was shambles to get in - organisers contradicted each other and sent people on wild goose chases to get a marker pen X put on their hand - was very stressful
Not enough seating areas - had a baby in a sling so was heavy to carry non stop for 2 hours
Children under 2 should not be charged same price as an adult - there was little for them to do as too cramped area
Music was the only decent thing

2nd time at Raver Tots (1st was in Camberley in October and I would have given the Camberley event 5 stars for everything)
Ok - the venue - too light, what is the point in face painting, glow sticks etc.
The lightness of the venue definitely affected the atmosphere
Massively overcrowded - couldn't get anywhere near the front for the 1st hour and there was no atmosphere at the back it just felt like being inside a children's soft play area, for the last 20 mins we enjoyed being at the front when what felt like half the amount of people had gone
Personal level - the back to back garage ad D+B didn't work, tunes wern't being played in full and the mixing by the guy that had defo been up all night (good on him lol) wasnt the best :-)))))) (sorry! :0)
Raver Tots, please don't book this venue again, it does not work for the type of event that you are trying to create. That being said I love Raver Tots and will definitely go back to another venue
Review of Raver Tots Easter Special at Croydon Boxpark
Unfortunately my granddaughter and her friend, both 10 were bored. Far too many adults and the only thing time they smiled was when they bopped the giant balloons into the air. Another friend’s child was in tears and others just wanted to go upstairs and run around. We could have done that for nothing! Music was as expected but more bouncy castles for older ones needed and more to do....
My 2 year old granddaughter loved running around and bopping along upstairs!

Review of Raver Tots Easter Special at Croydon Boxpark
We arrived on time to complete chaos - took ages to get in and the staff were pretty clueless. Once we did get in the door, it was so overcrowded that my son was unable to get to anything, use the bouncy castle or dance. We hung around for a few minutes before writing it off as a bad decision. Considering the price I though it was very poorly organised - no better than a school fete.

Not enough space to accommodate my expectations. Not enough stuff/ activities for babies and toddlers to do safely. Not what I thought it was gonna be, ie no food stands food for kids, games for under 3s ect.
Music was good.

Review of Raver Tots Easter Special at Croydon Boxpark
Fantastic Eater fun with my boys. . The atmosphere was banging as was the music was great! The hosts were great got all the audience involved! Great fun had by both the kids and adults. The venue was abit unorganised at the start, but eventually sorted itself out. We could have done with a cloakroom. The drink wasn’t great, the beer was very expensive and lively and there was only one bar tender at the bar. Drinks also got knocked over quite often by the big flying balloons. This didn’t bother me too mush as I wasn’t there for the beer. My boys had soft drinks and doughnuts!!! I saw lots of people with pack lunches and there own drinks. So lesson learned for next time. I would recommend and definitely be going again!

Review of Raver Tots Easter Special at Croydon Boxpark
This was extremely badly organised. The queuing system was appalling with people not knowing where to join the queue. They weren;t ready for that many people to enter and were not ready at 11am. We had to wait for 30 mins and did not get in until 11.30. They could not handle the numbers of people buying drinks with only one person serving and they ran out of drinks after an hour. Not adequate changing facilities for babies. However the most appalling thing was the drugs in the toilet. The baby changing mat was covered in drug packets, bits of w**d and other drugs paraphernalia either from that event or something the evening before. I would not recommend going to that venue with it being so disfunctional and there was no one to one to talk to to complain or who seemed to know what was going on. It was also overcrowded verging on dangerously overcrowded. Happy to share drug pictures - just truly disgusting.

Really great family day out. My two year old and 8 month old loved it. I would definitely recommend it to family and friends.
Great organisation, although only criticism would be not having an entrance on the ground floor. It makes life quite difficult when everyone has buggies.
