Review of Last Train Home Festival 2024
Another amazing LTH festival, where the artists are as varied as the venues. From the angelic vocals of Citrus in the intimate Narc Mag stage (ok, it's a dance studio) to the cavernous Hippodrome theatre with acoustics suited to the more laid back artists playing- shout out to Spilt Milk there.
The more frenetic acts were on the Noisy Daughter and Forum (main) stages, with pulsating performances from the brilliantly angry Dossers, Winona Bleach, and my favourites, Avalanche Party.
The brilliant thing about the setup is that the venues are so close that you can dip in and sample a whole smorgasbord of musical delicasies in a very short space of time. This is just as well, as there is considerable overlap with performances.
