We are proud to announce on, Saturday second of August at Stanhope Show field, we are hosting a 12 hour music event. DUSK til DAWN.

Tickets are available from Skiddle on the link below or for people familiar with the local DJ'S.

Ticket prices vary from £15 standard and £20 camping.
With regards to camping, the field will be open from 10.00 hours on the day 2nd of August, in order to get your pitch in good time. And campers will be asked to leave the following day the 3rd of August by no later that 11.00am.

Camp fires will not be tolerated and all campers will be briefed on the do's and dont's on arrival.

The music on show varies from House music, Trance to Hard style and promises to be a very special day. One not to miss out on.

The career of Alex Kidd reads like the dream wish list of any hard dance DJ. Over the past ten years The Kidd has caused more waves than the most turbulent of tsunamis and he continues his reign today as one of the undisputed leaders of Hard Dance.

With a lifelong obsession for fast and furious music, Alex Kidd is renowned for being one of the true innovators within the hard spectrum. An AK set is more than just your average DJ set. It is an experience and an education in harder music. A constant morphing of style and inspiration means that each set is an elaborate and imaginative onslaught of beats, samples and technical wizardary, all packaged up by one of the most entertaining and engaging performers hard dance has ever seen.

The journey of The Kidd began more than a decade ago in the depths of Manchester, starting working life behind the counter of his local record store. Carving a reputation for himself on the local circuit soon led to him becoming Goodgreef’s first ever resident and Label Manager. Combining fresh ideas, inventive music policies and an ever growing loyal following, it wasn’t long before both entities were setting the world of harder dance on fire, moulding the future of the scene, and making hard dance history.

It was 2007 however that Alex really made his mark. Already boasting regular appearances at all the biggest global stages, summer 2007 saw the Kidd’s name on every dance festival in the UK as well as many further afield. These included Global Gathering, Colourfest, Planet Love, WestFest and the mighty Dance Valley. As if this didn’t keep him busy enough, a residency with Keep Ibiza Tidy and a tour of Australia with hardstyle superhouse Q-Dance was thrown in there too! The Kidd was duly rewarded for this successful year, when crowned H.D.A Best DJ 2008, along with various other awards. The icing on the cake came in the form of a highly acclaimed Radio One Essential Mix, sharing the Hall of Fame with worldwide ambassadors of dance music Come 2008, spurred by independent visions, Alex Kidd moved away from the Goodgreef/PFA remit to launch his bastard child brand Kiddfectious.

Having just celebrated it’s second birthday, Kiddfectious has so far achieved an enormous amount in its two year existence. Hand in hand with its quirky festival sister brand Kiddstock, Alex Kidd and the KF team have developed a diverse and innovative record label, staged club events at some of the finest venues, released highly acclaimed albums and compilations, taken the Kiddstock festival vibe to the four corners of the UK, Kiddfected Ibiza and are now prepping Kiddfectious Airlines for the 2010 World Tour!

Highlights in the AK Personal Record of Achievement are abundant and include numerous Radio One appearances including a recent INMWT live show, numerous tours of over 20 countries across every continent including Russia, Australia, Canada, USA and Europe and mixing of over 15 compilation albums worldwide The Kidd’s passion and support in innovative music and future talent has meant the successful launching of tomorrows stars Kidd Kaos and Argy. This is further reflected in his dedication to lecturing and teaching of Music Production at Manchester Midi School, educating budding producers and DJs.

Alex Kidd is one of hard dance’s true investors, be it through his own productions, events and performance or through his support and dedication in tomorrow’s stars. This unadulterated passion and energy has been the reason for his success so far, and the reason that he will continue his reign both in and out of the limelight for many years to come.

ENERGY SYNDICATE - Within a short space of three years, Energy Syndicate has risen through the ranks from being an up-and-coming multiple competition winning Dj into one of the scenes most in-demand rising stars.

As a Dj he has consistantly rocked crowds all over the UK delivering huge main room sets at events such as Frantic, AWsum, Tidy,
Bounce-2-This & Xstatic to name a few.
His Dj sets are fully loaded with fast paced super tight mixing, insane effects manipulation, scratching & an unexplainable vision of knowing exactly what the crowd want to hear. Giving the clubbers the time of their life & ensuring they leave the dancefloor with a smile on their face is the number one weapon in this Dj's arsenal which is what pushes him to the front of any promoters hit-list.

In the studio he has developed his own unique style of hands-in-the-air Hard Dance, combining elements from a wide range of genres within the spectrum of global dance music.
His productions have gained loyal Dj support from some of the biggest hitters in the scene today such as Cally Gage, Andy Whitby, Technikal, Amber D, The Tidy Boys, Anne Savage, Sam & Deano & Klubfiller as well as support from Kutski on his infamous Friday night show on Radio one.

2009 saw Energy Syndicate make his debut appearence on pioneering super label 'AWsum' headed up by none other than the 'Saviour of Hard Dance' Andy Whitby which led to him becoming one of the labels in-house producers & paving the way for his recent success.
Since then he has produced & remixed for other labels such as Tidy, Masif, Defiance & N-Gaged recordings as well as having multiple tracks featured on a range of albums & compilations.
His 2010 remix of Tidy's uber anthem 'Stalker' was a feature track on their most successful compilation to date 'Hard Dance Anthems' which soared up the HMV national album chart. The remix also featured on the national TV advertising campaign.

His unrivalled passion for music & dedication to the scene shows no boundaries which is portrayed in both his Dj sets & productions & is what puts Energy Syndicate at the forefront of the next generation of Hard Dance superstars.
