Funhouse Comedy Club returns to Binary, Mickleover on Sunday August 25th for a bank holiday night of laughter.
Topping the bill is Pierre Hollins who has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. In the early days, he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner, appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner and toured with The Flying Pickets, Willie Rushton and Barry Cryer. He has completely re-invented his act several times. In a more recent incarnation, he was found wielding an electric squash racket! His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing.
Opening the night will be Scottish comedian, writer and actor Alan Francis. His intelligent and entertaining material challenges his audiences thoughts while at the same time keeps them amused. Having performed stand-up around the world he is a naturally funny man.
Completing the line-up is writer, actor and comedian the enthusiastic Tom Ratcliffe with his creative tales and various thoughts.
Compere for the night will be the positive, amiable and amusing Dave Bryon.
