Review of WFR Central

WFR Central turned out to be a fantastic festival. A knowledgable, friendly crowd of fans from around the country and two ace venues. The stage, sound, and lighting at Deda, set up by Derby Uni students, were amazing and the the diverse styles of electronic music gave us all something to enjoy. My favourites were Bethan Lloyd, and Cholly at Dubrek, and Warrington New Town, and Altern8 at Deda. It was a great day.

Wonderful day full of amazing music, top atmosphere, lovely people. A worthy tribute to a fantastic record label, but hopefully the first of many such festivals to come

Fantastic day. Brilliant atmosphere. Well organised and amazing staff. A wonderful day with friends old and new. Oh, and music was ace! My feet hurt from dad dancing.

Cracking lineup. Warrington Runcorn New Town Development, Maria Uzor, Matters & Altern-8 all on the same bill deserves more recognition and respect. Plus low key drones and heartfelt pastoral tones from Bethan Lloyd was a surprise highlight for me. More of WFR Central please

WFR Central was a fantastic festival. Great organisers and well organised, schedule ran well, sound was amazing and no issues whatsoever. Felt like a festival that had been running for a few years. Hope it returns in some form or other next year!
