Nestled into the rolling hills of the Kedleston Estate, just a hop, skip and a jump from the heart of the Peak District, we have taken great pride in restoring this beautiful Georgian, Adam’s designed house back to its former glory, creating a unique modern country house for you to enjoy.

With only 5 exclusive boutique bedrooms opening this Autumn, each individually designed for you, we hope your visit to us is as enjoyable as possible.

A home from home, we have lovingly sourced and restored our furniture from local antiques fairs and craftsmen, and combined it with fabulous personal touches from our friends at Plum & Ashby, to give an eclectic and individual, relaxed and comfortable style, where you can truly kick back and wind-down in stunning surroundings.

It really is a house to enjoy the great British seasons – from the summer sun-drenched landscaped Georgian garden, where you can recline in our deckchairs, (drink in hand, of course!); to the cosy ambiance of the Snug and drawing rooms, with their roaring log fires, We want you to discover every character of this amazing country house, and hang out here, whatever the weather throws at us!

We hope you will take the opportunity to treat yourself to our exquisite food – from the fantastic lunch and evening menus, to be enjoyed in our elegant Dining Room, or light-flooded Orangery; the light and exciting range of bar snacks; traditional Afternoon Tea; or our amazing selection of New York inspired breakfasts.

Everything is freshly prepared by our Head Chef and his team. They take great care and consideration in using only the finest, locally sourced ingredients for each dish – basing each menu on produce grown in our own gardens, and from The Kedleston Estate, wherever possible.
