About

A FREE to attend literature festival with various events and all-day book/cafe. Taking place across a number of venues in Oakwood the Oakwood Literature Festival is suitable for people of all ages. You can book in advance to secure your place or just turn up on the day. There will be 'meet the author' sessions in Springwood Library; Panel discussions at hourly intervals in the Springwood Leisure Centre from 11am-4pm and opening ceremony, talks, author readings, raffle, tombola, children's story time, author signings and cafe from 10- 5pm in the Oakwood Community Centre. Parking is available at all venues, as is disabled access. Feel free to join us for a great day out, come along for all or part of the day - remember it's all FREE!
