Review of Progress Club Classics 1992-2002
We danced all night like it was 1995! Progress Derby was the clubbing place to be back in the 90's and met loads of best friends that still stand today. Seeing the event on Facebook we were all straight on the case and 12 of us managed to get tickets before they sold out. The music was amazing. My Fitbit went crazy with all the dancing! As you looked around there were just a sea of happy smiley people. Took us right back to our 20+ year old selfs but in our 40+ bodies! The venue hasn't changed much in 20+ years. The toilets are currently being sorted from a sign on the wall. We could ditch coats and umbrella's for a £1. I was designated driver (too much wine the night before!) and there wasn't much in the way of non alcoholic beer so bottled water it was. There are only hot taps in the toilets so couldn't re fill my bottle. Waiting now with baited breathe for the next event. Oh how we miss a decent Derby clubbing night! Happy days.
