About

The Brewery Tap, Derby’s Royal Standard; our first pub is situated minutes from the city centre on the banks of the river Derwent. It is an iconic Derby pub dating back to 1862, making it one of Derby’s oldest pubs. We opened in June 2008 following a 6 month renovation, combining the Victorian character with a modern twist to create Derby’s first upmarket local. And our roof terrace overlooking the river isn’t bad either. We are even multi award winning, with an award from Derby Civic Society for the tasteful restoration of the building. Also winners of Derby CAMRA Pub of the Year 2009, and shortlisted for Derby Food and Drink Awards Best Bar 2009. So why not follow in Queen Victoria’s footsteps and come and see for yourself.
