Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
My only issue was the mud, I realise you are limited as to what you can do, but some places would have benefitted from the matting that was solid. (hope that mskes sense)

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
We were really looking forward to this event but were disappointed on arrival as the parking was really tight in pitch black and big holes all over the place. A lot of children running infront of cars. There was a small narrow path which was an entrance and exit pathway, not very practical for the large amount of people coming in and out. Felt tick*t entrance very lacklustre and staff were miserable. Immediately walk through tiny area of facilities and into a long line for Santa's grotto blocking the way to entrance of the actual light trail. Staff along the trail were so friendly and helpful but you do feel very rushed as going round so by the end of it you think if I'd known this was the end of the trail I'd have stopped abit longer to admire this bit. For the amount of money you should be provided with a map. The path was quite dangerous in parts wouldn't recommend for anyone with mobility issues or pregnant etc. Spent majority of the time looking at the floor so we didn't slip down muddy hill paths. We finished trail in less than an hour and we left as soon as we'd been round. Once you've done the trail there's a back garden sized area crammed with food trucks, toilets and two fair ground rides, everything was incredibly expensive and not worth it. I think with a lot of work and better planning it could've been so much better and worth the money. Having the trail across the hilly bank was a little silly especially considering the stormy winter weather and large amount of footfall churning up the paths to muddy slopes.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
The light trail was lovely but very muddy and slippery. Unfortunately we spent more time looking at our feet to make sure we didnât slip, than looking at the lights.
Very disappointed with the âiceâ skating. We paid for four adults to skate on plastic tiles. The area was small so not enough space to âskateâ safely anyway. Only two of the party had a go but lasted less than 5 minutes. Totally misleading and not worth the money we paid.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
The event was beautiful. However I think the back log during the trail made it difficult for younger children to enjoy and it was just one long queue for photo opportunities, it took away some of the magic. Maybe staff could try and keep a maximum number of people t up allow an easier flow. I thought the festive village was cramped and a small, again for the amount of people there. I also paid for Santas grotto but the queue was outrageous, so we left without seeing Santa. Overall I saw it as abit of a money grab and not very well organised.

Beautiful setting with gorgeous light displays. Lovely photo areas to make picture memories. Fake snow was a fantastic touch. Music was on a loop could improve. Toilets were not good !! That aspect definitely requires improvement. On the whole a wonderful experience would definitely recommend.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
We were blown away by this event, it was worth the money and we didn't feel rushed like other trails. The staff were very friendly and in good Christmas spirit. The lights were amazing and our children especially enjoyed the snow machine part. We really hope this event is back on next year as we will be booking to go back 100%.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
Whilst the trail itself was ok & the lights themselves were pleasing, I found it didn't last very long. For the price paid, it could have offered more. It was very uneven in pleases which with the bad weather, was very slippy. Yes you can expect that but more could have been put in place to help those who would need the extra support.
Surprisingly the car park was an issue. It was not lit up enough to see anything whilst parking or the floor whilst we were walking. My cousin almost walked straight into a low rise boundary, after I told her it was there. She still couldn't see it so had to use her phone Torch to see what I was talking about.
I book multiple lights trail events every year. This isn't one I'd come back to, which says a lot. On a positive note, it was nice to see they had a few food options.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
Trail was magical, as a family we all really enjoyed it. The only disappointment was the food/drink area. Not much on offer there. There was so much potential for a proper little Christmas mark*t, we were hoping for mulled wine and bratwurst type of offerings and were prepared to spend money however we didn't fancy the pizza or chicken so we left and ate elsewhere. Big wheel was nice and reasonably priced at £3 each though.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
I know the paths were very wet from all the rain we have experienced. The staff did try their best to keep these paths as clean as possible and to inform us to take care. But it seemed some of the light displays were not on, as there seemed to be blank spaces. There was not a theme to the lights. Best light display is Webbs at Wychbold.

Thoroughly enjoyed our time here as a family. Amazing experience and one which we enjoyed so much that we would like it to be an annual event! Really good value and the trail is well maintained and accessible for all. Wear wellies and good grips if it's slippy, but definitely recommend to all. Can't wait for next year!

Magical my boys had the best time. Santa and his helpers were amazing also. Only downfall was that it was quiet muddy but that can't be helped. I would definitely recommend friends and family to go.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
Absolutely beautiful, our child loved it, as did we and we want to return next year. Wellies are recommended, as we did leave very muddy and it is its a bit slippy and the ground is uneven and a bit steep in places which some may find difficult.

Review of The Enchanted Adventures - Himley Hall Christmas Light Trail
The whole event was just wonderful!! Our only gripe was the choice of music. It was more disco than Christmas songs. Which is a huge shame. Maybe next year just play ALL Christmas songs to make it even more magical.
Other than that it was just GREAT!
