I can't believe I didn't know about The Venue until now. It's a lovely venue, with a traditional style and lots of space. I would certainly book this venue if I ever have an occasion. The price of the event was very reasonable. The atmosphere was great, everyone was having a good time, everyone integrated and there was no trouble. The music was abit to commercial for my liking with a few Rnb/Garage tracks which defeated the object of having a Reggae/Dancehall night.

I would recommend to others.

Can't comment on the act as we didn't really see any of it! Organisation was shocking! Had prebooked tickets well in advance thinking we'd get a decent table, but no. There was no reserved table and we were forced to sit at the back. Everyone in front was standing up so could not see a thing. Waste of a Friday night, won't be attending any more functions at this venue again! Very disappointed! :(
Table next to us was full of wasted women who had clearly taken some kind of drug, one of whom fell on my 70 years old grandmother three times- informed bouncers, no action taken as they were "friends of the cast"
Seriously, whoever organised this needs to quite literally get their act together!

My party were disappointed this time around. We couldn't hear the singer on the mic, the music was overpowering him. He didn't seem so interested this time. We left as we were quite bored. We recommended them to other family members too that came along this time. We apologised for a bad night.
