Brancepeth Castle is one of those places that does not disappoint: set in pretty meadows in an ancient estate village. Most visitors' first comment is Oh, its a real castle! Most of the time, Brancepeth Castle is a peaceful home for a couple of dozen people and some artisan workshops, but every now and again it bursts into life as the venue for a huge public event - Craft fairs,exhibitions and outdoor theatre.
