Dragons Arise! at Brancepeth Castle – Saturday 22nd March, 2–5pm. 

With the arrival of Spring, the dragons awaken! Join us for an exciting family event atBrancepeth Castle, near Durham, featuring dragon storytelling, puppets (including the impressive three-person Lambton Worm), medieval re-enactments, stories, performances and crafts for all ages.

Discover North-East dragon folklore in theRadical Dragons exhibition, wield a sword with "Outlaws and Vagabonds". Try crown-making, dragon masks or crafting your own mini monster. (small charges apply) - see website for full details of all activities.

Come dressed as a knight, princess, or dragon, and meet beautiful handcrafted dragon puppets. Enjoy drinks and snacks in the café or bring a picnic. Tickets: £2 children (under 14), £3 adults. Free parking. Full details and booking at the Brancepeth Castle website.
