Review of Tunde of Lighthouse Family Live in Durham Cathedral
My wife and I have seen the Lighthouse Family several times and had a great time. Tunde and his band were excellent and loved all the LF old songs. But, it was cold.

Review of Heather Small Live in Durham Cathedral
So we paid for VIP which was ruined as there was no security to stop crowds of people entering that section and dancing right up to the stage and breaking the view of us.

Review of Heather Small Live in Durham Cathedral
Was so looking forward to seeing Heather Small at Durham Cathedral. But finished walking out before the end of her set. Why - we had North Transept seats (second from the front) but the seats were not advertised as 'restricted view'. We were about 8 feet lower than the stage floor and barriers all along the side of the stage, with the stage, band & Heather facing down the nave. The keyboard player had his back to us and totally blocked our possible view of Heather, even if standing up. Only saw her head a couple of times and her hand as she put it up in the air. We also had 'restricted sound' too as it was not set up to project a balanced sound through the small speakers to the side. We tried to complain to the cloaked volunteers who showed people to their seats but most of them had disappeared and the two we spoke to couldn't point to where we could speak to someone, just apologised or shrugged their shoulders. Durham Cathedral is beautiful but is not the place for a pop concert without the necessary security, crowd control, sound systems, staging, seating etc. We won't be going again and will be endeavouring to get a refund - the first time I have ever had to resort to doing so.

Review of Heather Small Live in Durham Cathedral
The font area lacked a good sound system. Not value for money. In a queue for an hour and a half in the cold. Why can they not give you allocated seats when booking. Heather Small on stage for an hour. VIP tickets the next

Review of Heather Small Live in Durham Cathedral
I purchased vip tickets to ensure my wife and I had a good view .
The opening act were very poor ( pub band). When Heather Small appeared on stage there was a mass of people from the back who just swamped the aisles and stage ( no security )
We didnât see a thing.
Will be looking for a full refund including hotel costs

Review of Heather Small Live in Durham Cathedral
I've seen Heather small at Newcastle city hall, a few years ago and her voice was amazing. Along with the music. Last night I felt it wasn't as good. Although she still was great. Just sounded different.. you couldn't hear her voice clearly at the back. It Sounded like she had a sore throat. I could be wrong. However I still would go and see her again. Just not at Durham cathedral .. the venue. Was lovely the lighting was beautiful. However closing the bar before interval was ridiculous... being made to wait until 9pm to get a drink . Just so they could get the subjugation ready that was ordered for the interval... I guess they lost some orders during this time
