Review of Kubix Festival
Would I recommend KUBIX?! Absolutely not! Even if the sun had been shining and no rain had fell.. its was horrendous from start to finish!
Security - lack of and quite poor
Toilets - not enough for the amount of people there
Food and Drink.. ridiculously priced.. you expect to pay a little more but £25 for a pizza served to you by someone with dirt in their nails... disgusting.
Shuttle bus service paid for in advance... couldn't locate then couldn't get on as folks who did jump on had no ticket..
DRUGGED UP A*HOLES topped it off!!
Never again!

Supposed to be family friendly- taken my son 2 years in a row- age 8 and 9, too many people who have clearly smuggled drugs in and people acting horrific. Not bothered about most things but security didn't take me seriously which was a shame.

Review of Kubix Festival
Once again no where near enough toilets provided for women. The princes of a drink were ridiculous.!!!! £7 for one can of beer or cider.! £7 for a pint. These are not affordable prices in the north east. Also the ground could have been propped a lot better for the weather that was expected. It was a pure mud bath.! When I have been to concerts at the football stadium the cover the grass in white plastic flooring to protect the grass. Very badly thought thru which left for a not so good experience we left after only 3 hours there!

Review of Kubix Festival
Really enjoyed the event for the 3rd year running but the toilets need cleaning throughout the day and queues to the toilets were very long. I know the weather can't be helped but it was disgusting trying to get to the toilets and having to trek through the mud bath, I also lost my boot a few times as it kept getting stuck in the mud and as a result, I fell over into the mud bath. It's not very disability friendly for getting through the thick mud to the toilets so I would recommend putting bark down like was at the main stage to soak up any wetness or better still, have boards down on the way to the toilets like some of the vednors had outside their stalls, it made it so much easier to navigate and would be more inclusive/ easier for anyone in a wheelchair.

Review of Live at Herrington: The Human League
Paid for the VIP package, total waste of money, complete and utter shambles. Would never do it again. Bands where great venue is good but VIP venue and services were a disaster.

Review of Live at Herrington: The Human League
Where do I start..this is the worst VIP event I've ever been to..disgraceful..the "luxury" toilets were disgusting..an old caravan , no running water, doors that didn't lock, overflowing, smelly& dirty..no one to check them, there wasn't enough tables for people, we actually used a chair shared with another couple for a table. The queue for the bbq was an hour long next to the smelly toilets, and after queuing for half hour was told he had ran out of food and had to go outside to a burger van, and was allowed burger& chips. On entry to the venue, after the gates were meant to open at 3.30, when they opened at 5.-0pm, there was no VIP entry as described in the itinerary when purchasing the tickets, the general admission got in before us. The queue at the " private VIP " bar was over 40 mins wait & no queues outside in general admission. The whole set up inside the marquee was very shabby with dated cheap furniture..I will never ever attend another concert at Herrington Country Park. I will be submitting a request for a full refund..what a waste of £216.00..just not acceptable 😡

Review of Live at Herrington: The Human League
Disgraceful! The whole disaster started on arrival. We queued for 1hr 20mins outside the gates because there was a delay, which is fair enough. However, other people made their own queue and although told several times that they wouldn't get in any quicker, they did! As a VIP ticket holder, which was double the price, we were promised queue jumping but instead stood in the single VIP lane while everyone else sailed on through. One security person said "you shot yourself in the foot buying those tickets ." The bands started playing long before we got through. Once through, the VIP enclosure was situated away from the stage so we couldn't see anything except on the big screens. The promised bbq with assorted meats, salads and sweet treats was infact a burger and chips with coleslaw. No choice, no vegetarian options and no sweats. The food then ran out! A stall holder was then responsible for honouring ticket holders with a burger or sausage choice. The luxury toilets were disgusting with no water, stinking, blocked toilet and a door hanging off one cubicle. All VIP ticket holders were totally ripped off. A refund of at least 30% should be given as compensation. Never again! Thank you to the brilliant bands, especially Human League.

Review of Kubix Festival
The festival itself was brilliant but the organisation was terrible for disabled guests.
Nobody told us the way to go from parking, or how to get to the viewing platform so we ended up stuck in the muddy field- thanks to some lovely guests we made it!
There were only 2 disabled portaloos and one was out of order all night too.
The staff on arrival were terrible and told my PA to leave me sat in my manual wheelchair unable to move and wait whilst she went to collect the wristbands and stand in the line! This is not possible as my PA is needed to be with me 24/7 for medical emergencies, so we had to refuse and insist that someone brought the wristbands to us, so we could stay together as it was too muddy to take me over to the line!
The music was fab and the people lovely- but we also had issues with people smoking in the disabled viewing platform

Review of Kubix Festival
The event was totally unchild friendly and should be advertised as over 18s only! I took my children who are 6 and 3, expecting a family event and there was very little/ nothing for them to do.
My children were frightened of the drunken/ drugged up adults who were head to foot covered in mud and vomiting right next to them. Of which there were many!!
On the other hand lots of people appeared to be enjoying themselves and the acts were good and the entertainment between acts was good. Brilliant for a hen/ stag weekend if you don't mind mud.
The staff were very friendly and did everypossibly to prevent this sort of situation by body searching people on the way in, who had bags of wine strapped to their underwear! And staff in the car park were very helpful, when many of the cars were getting stuck in the mud in the car park. It was total chaos!! Could have done with better planning for parking / ground laying to prevent getting stuck in the mud.
But really this was not a family event and I will not be going back.
