Review of Kubix Festival

Music: a great line up but hard to hear in some parts of the festival. Also tents too close to each other, it was hard to hold a conversation when music was coming from all sides.

Venue: perfect for a festival but not enough facilities on site. Needed double the number of toilets as it got heated a couple of times because people were pushing in. Also you can't do much about the weather but could have been better prepared by putting wood chip or bark in the areas that were muddy before people arrived. Taxis were well organised but it's probably because we left early that we waited 20 minutes to get in one.

Prices: would be a good admission price if more time was spent enjoying the music and not queuing for the toilets. Bar prices and deals on drinks were in line with other gigs and festivals although the bar next to the dance arena had run out of some drinks before 6:30pm.

Atmosphere: security good at finding alcohol being sneaked in but there were no sniffer dogs so easy to get drugs in. There were so many people that we saw who were under the influence of drugs and kept bumping into us as they danced or moved around the site with their friends. Too many people in the dance tent wanting to wind others up and start a fight. We had enough and left at 8 even though we'd been looking forward to watching Sam Ryder.

Sadly for the 4.5 hour round trip, £90 hotel stay, £50 in taxis and £150 ticket entry without the food and drinks at the festival, we didn't enjoy it and won't be returning.

Had a great day only complaint was state and amount of toilets, they were disgusting should have had more aswell for the amount of people at venue ,my disabled daughter was refused entry at disabled toilets as her disability was not visible to security staff which I find offensive

Absolutely disgusting this year. The toilet situation is disgusting! My daughter has additional needs & bowel problems.
I had to queue up twice.oncw to get in then queued again to get a toilet pass fir disability which wasa total waste if time as the toilet s weren't getting checked properly.
The last straw was when me& my 2 children had waited patiently for the toilet. To be told by people in front of us the toilet had been rocking for 20 minutes already!
Then a couple fell out the toilet cubicle! 🤢🤮 vile!
People having sex in those disgusting toilets!
I went to Rosie fest the week before. There were people waiting to clean the toilets before you went in.
Kubix sort your facilities out as I won't be back next year! Only good thing I enjoyed were the rides. Music was s**t in the blue tent this year.
Loved it last year....very disappointing this year.
Why put another big thing on the night before? It just turns it into a mud bath unnecessarily.

Everything was great, especially Cascada. However there needs to be a lot more toilets and bins.

Excellent line up, however music could not be heard very well/clear at the back of the dance tent, need more/better speakers. VIP ran out of certain drinks, meaning I lost out on getting my 'free' drink. VIP toilets stunk and we're dirty, should have been cleaned throughout the evening, so not very 'posh' at all! VIP food was lovely, however they also ran out of brownies! Tried to get water near the end of the night, there was none left anywhere! VIP is not worth the money!

Prices were crazy!!! Absolutely no need for it. The toilets were a horrific. The queues were horrendous.

Would not recommend at all after the horrible treatment a big group of us received by security. Myself and my cousin left to have a quick drink over the road and were not informed that we had to be back by a certain time. So when we came back, along with plenty of other people, we were told to leave after paying for our tickets and drinks. One girl was even thrown to the floor and hit her head. I've been to this venue for festivals before but never again.

Security were terrible inside of the venue and more bothered about staying dry than helping people who needed it. Saw a girl get completly knocked out and they couldn't have cared less about catching who did it. Security getting through ticket stalls were physically groping people, so unnecessary. The weather in the run up to the event was shocking and didn't change up until the day of the event, THE EVENT SHOULD HAVE BEEN CANCELLED. More bothered about making money than the safety of people attending the event. Absolutely shocking. Second time coming to kubix and I, and also the group of friends I attended with, will not be retuning in future.

Venue good but needs a lot of upgrading for bad weather conditions and should be more help to get Cars of the mud when They was stuck lot of the big Offence of track matting down so you not Paddling around in the mud .

This is the first time I had attended a kubix festival. I took my mam and my 1: year old daughter and her friend.
Firstly I was hugely disappointed that I was unable to take any food into the venue. I found the prices very expensive and the drinks!
Unfortunately the weather spoilt it and we only stayed for 3 hours.
I found this event attracted the wrong clientele. All I seen was people intoxicated with alcohol and drugs. Fighting which wasn't nice to see, especially in front of my daughter.
I was sitting next to a group of females one of whom decided to just stand up and urinate in front of everyone. How disgusting!
I just couldn't wait to get home.
I nearly never got mg car out.
Sorry to say not the best experience!

Good day, good music. Drink and food prices high but to be expected at these type of events. Drink choice is very limited as well. Biggest disappointment of it all was not enough toilets for the amount of people at the venue having to wait over an hour to use a toilet is not good

The individual music acts were great. Timings weren't very good so only saw half the acts as all the times clashed. Going in, security was extremely rough with me. Purposely had no bag and only a phone that he managed to rip the case . Obviously other security weren't the same as many had drugs and other alcohol with them. Needed police drug dogs! Dance tent should have been no smoking/vaping as it ended up like a pre-smoking ban club. Toilets!! Think we counted 32 toilets for 10000ish people!?! Queues were 30-45 minutes for women. Mens urinals were in full view of everyone! They were that bad people were going to the toilet in and around the dance tent and pretty much anywhere. This was all in the same mud that people were covering themselves in. Drinks were overpriced, as in most events like this £5.50 for a 440ml can (part of an offer).

Only issue was the dance tent and the sides not being open! It got too busy and dangerous with the amount of people squeezing in.
