Review of Lumley Castle Christmas Market
The limited number of stallholders were okay. Nothing particularly Christmassy. No decorations in the venue, messy and confusing layout. Venue was upstairs via a narrow and confined stone staircase. Nightmare for people with pushchairs who had to queue for lift. Poor directions. Castle was grubby, no other way to put it. Glorious on the outside, in need of a hot soapy cloth inside. Too many chiefs, not enough indians in organisation. Very disappointed.

Review of Lumley Castle Christmas Market
Lumley Castle is a beautiful setting for a Christmas Mark*t event. I had high expectations however I did feel a bit let down. The venue could have done with better parking arrangements - and an attendant to supervise where to park. Extra facilities such as use of the golf club parking (which was empty) would have helped. Inside the Castle the signage for the Christmas mark*t was non-existent and people were wandering into other rooms where guests were eating or staff were setting up. The stalls were interesting but there was a lot of repetition, such as wax melts/candle stalls. The layout was bitty and there were bottle-necks into the different rooms. It would be easy to miss a whole area out due to lack of signage. This mark*t could be fantastic with some basic improvements.

Review of Lumley Castle Christmas Market
Parking was chaotic and the event wasn't signposted , unsure of where to go and we ended up going through the fair backwards. Beautiful venue but very cramped and crowded in places, some stalls were great but a lot just seemed like repeats of each other. I personally dislike MLM mark*ting companies at these events, I spotted Tropic and 2 Scentsy stalls. I think Christmas fairs should focus on local or independent small businesses. More choice next year especially food & drink gifts would be great.

Review of Lumley Castle Christmas Market
Not organized at all !!!!!! no parking attendants, cars parked any where on a one way system, no signs for lifts for disabled people, stalls just placed any where and they let too many people in at once so you could not get to see the stalls in one room there was a complete stand still no body was moving at all we gt there for 11:00 seen only 1 stall and left by 11:20, will not be going back ever. If I had to pay for my tick*t I would have asked for my money back.

Beautiful venue. Some great stalls, some a bit expensive. Car parking was a nightmare. No one directing to where spaces were. Too many people, need time slots for shopping & parking. Lovely atmosphere

Review of Lumley Castle Twilight Christmas Market
Venue isn't suitable for large numbers of people in cars. Parking was a nightmare. No lighting on the roads was dangerous. Lack of signage to entrance. Didn't start on time. More like an expensive craft fayre than a Christmas mark*t. I expected more seasonal fayre. Like cheeses, preserves, alcohol etc , som**hing different for Christmas celebrations and gifts. We only stayed 10 minutes.
